The North Yorkshire Coast Opportunity Area is offering the following free events and activities for schools and settings to sign-up to.

Transport and Cover Costs

The Opportunity Area is also offering 50% travel subsidy for schools and settings bringing pupils to attend events.

If you would like to apply for subsidy, please contact events@nybep.org.uk by the 28th of February with estimated travel costs.

There is also capacity for the Opportunity Area to reimburse schools for cover costs for members of teaching staff. Please contact events@nybep.org.uk for more information.

Kjartan Poskitt – Murderous Maths Show Scarborough

Kjartan Poskitt, best-selling author of the Murderous Maths book series, brings his fun filled show to Whitby and Scarborough! These promise to be exciting events for primary school children in Years 3-6.

Kjartan previously worked in TV where he wrote and presented for Anne Wood (creator of the Teletubbies). Fans of his books include Ed Sheeran.
